The sea and the elements turn with « Poesea » old hulls of boats in paintings by masters abstract and poetic. Open-air museum, material buried under multiple layers of paintings, seaweed or shells, reflects the history and the wounds of the boat. This almost geological mapping of old hulls of boats reveals what happens to the work of the man to the test of time and forces of elements. These «beautiful damage» are an exact reflection of reality as it is visible to the naked eye here or there; along a pier, on a beach or in a corner of shipyard. We brought no lighting additional or performed editing via the help of specialized software.

At the interface of the Earth and sea, travel and dream, the here and the elsewhere; also, we went to meet the volunteers of the Amarrage association. The association is missioned to restore the maritime heritage of Normandy while creating social ties for patients with psychological pathologies. Patients and volunteers sea fans find themselves at the workshop to restore boats, make live marine songs and the old navigation. Restore the structure allows people to repair the boat while giving free rein to his imaginary journeys. But sometimes the wounds of the boat do echo those of humans, and in an extraordinary way, that’s the boat which repairs man !
